Hello there everyone and welcome to Artist

Gang Tuesday. Today I am sharing with you a little 5x7 inch canvas I made following Donna's Abstract Florals class. I use my fingers rather than a brush, but the idea is still the same.

I started my background with texture paste

through one of Donna's stencils and then went crazy with acrylics over the top. Take a look at my video to see what I mean.

Here is a list of the materials I used,

you should be able to find most of these in Donna's shop.

I hope you get to spend lots of time making art this month.

Until next time xxx

Tanyalee

I'm Tanyalee and I am primarily a mixed media art journaler who is beginning to dabble in works on canvas. I have always been a creative type, starting with sketching cartoon characters as a young girl, right through to now where I work as Graphic Designer and Social Media Consultant. I strongly believe that everyone can make art and be creative, you just need to believe in yourself and follow your instincts. Getting messy with paint (and I mean messy - I LOVE to use my hands rather than brushes) is like therapy to me, when times are tough, I get stuck into my art journal. I look forward to sharing my work with you all in 2017.
