Hello Arty Souls! Sylwia here with my third fairy project. This time I decided to combine both: watercolors (I used Daniel Smith) and acrylics (by Golden). Firstly I painted watercolor fairy, I added pieces of collages to it to make it more interesting. then I blocked the negative space around the fairy with one colour of acrylics. I really like the combination on both techniques:0 Enjoy the video!

Hey arty souls!!! My name is Sylwia Gryczuk and I am originally from Poland but live and create in little Irish town called Claregalway. I have started my Art journey in 2009, when I joined the oil painting classes in Galway. After few classes I decided to practice at home and to learn by myself. I started exploring different media of art and currently I am working with different mixed media such as acrylic, watercolor, vintage papers, beeswax, fabric. I am very passionate about painting, art journalling, collages, decopatch and craft projects:). I have also completed Art in Group facilitation course in CIT. This course inspired me to combine my art skills and my work (I work as a Project Co-ordinator in Garda Diversion Youth Project). I plan and deliver wellbeing educational programmes through art. The outcomes have been amazing. It is great to see young people expressing themselves in a safe environment. And that's what I love about Art: its universal and creative language without the words!!!:))

In 2012 I have created TandiArt studio (one of my rooms converted into art studio)  where I put my whole heart into white canvas and pages to transform them into something happy and soulful:). The name came from a little girl named Thandi which means 'loved', as I would love my art to give love and happiness to myself and other people:)
