Let's talk texture

Today we’re talking texture! Lots of texture. Golden modeling paste and glass bead gel are perfect for creating natural and organic texture that is perfect for glazing.

I loved putting the teal glaze down first so that it shows through subtlety and adds more depth and dimension to these already grungy pieces

I hope that you’ll look around the house and find all kinds of texture making tool and item to imbed into your modeling and just have fun experimenting.

Supplies Used:

2 8x10 wood panels

Scraps of vintage paper, latch hook rug backing scraps,

Golden glass bead gel, molding paste, regular gel matte, gesso, glazing medium,

Golden high flow acrylic: sepia 

Fluid acrylic in Teal

Golden fluid matte medium

Letter stamps, palette knife,

Pan pastels: violet extra dark, magenta extra dark, violet shade, raw number,

Spectra fix fixative
