Hello!

Cristin here for the month of March!

Today I’m going to show you how I turn an old vintage book into a new art journal.

All you will need is your book of choice, (I found mine in an antique store), waxed thread, scissors, strong watercolor paper (I recommend at least 140lb) and an awl. You can find most of these things in the Donna Downey shop!

I love how this journal is small, and grungy and raw. It already has so many stories to tell, don’t you think?

Also for the month of March I’m doing a giveaway! I have just released my first ever solo art journal class called the Magic Forest and I have a couple of spots to giveaway!

All you have to do is share this post on your Facebook or other social media, and leave a comment on this post on Facebook or Instagram letting me know where you shared. At the end of the month I will randomly pick 2 winners from all the entries! Good Luck!

I'll see you next Monday.... we will begin filling our new journal!
